This Privacy Policy describes how Southern MGD ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the AI Emoji Generator mobile application ("the App").
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not display third-party advertisements within the App.
📦 Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the App's functionality:
- Google Account Information — When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google's OAuth service. This is used to identify your account and associate your coin balance with you.
- Coin Balance & Transaction History — We store your current coin balance and a record of coin purchases and usage on our secure servers hosted on Railway.
- Emoji Prompts — The text prompts you enter to generate emojis are sent to our AI service providers to produce the output image. We do not permanently store your prompt history on our servers.
- User-Uploaded Photos (Personal Emoji Feature) — If you use the Personal Emoji feature, your photo is resized and sent directly to Replicate's API for processing. Photos are not stored on our servers.
- Generated Images — Emoji images you generate are returned to your device. We do not store generated images on our servers.
- Device & Usage Information — Standard technical data such as your device type and operating system version may be collected to help us diagnose issues and improve the App.
🎯 How We Use Your Information
We use collected information for these purposes only:
- To authenticate your identity and maintain your account
- To track your coin balance and process coin purchases via Google Play Billing
- To generate emoji images using AI services on your behalf
- To provide customer support when you contact us
- To improve the App's performance and fix bugs
🤝 Third-Party Services
The App relies on the following third-party services to function. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data sent to them:
We do not share your personal data with these services beyond what is strictly necessary to perform the requested operation (e.g., your prompt text is sent to Replicate/Anthropic solely to generate your emoji).
🛒 In-App Purchases
The App offers a virtual coin system. Coins are purchased through Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store your payment card details — all financial transactions are handled entirely by Google Play.
Coins are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Google Play's refund policies. Coins have no real-world monetary value and cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.
🔒 Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information:
- All communication between the App and our servers uses HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Your account data is stored in a secured PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway
- API keys and secrets are stored as environment variables, never hardcoded in the app
- We do not store sensitive payment information
No method of internet transmission is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
👶 Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — Request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Deletion — Request that we delete your account and associated data
- Correction — Request correction of inaccurate data
